Sergio Bini, aka Prof. Bustric is known from the blockbuster film “La vita e bella”, and as a clown, actor and not least an old friend of this festival! This year Prof. Bustric found The Pit’s charming backyard, where he opens his suitcase and lets us take a peak into his magic world.
He is the professor who awakens curiosity, playfulness and joy!
Sergio Bini, born in 1952, graduated from the University of Bologna and studied pantomime with Étienne Decroux in Paris. He works both as a theater and film actor. His most famous filmrole is in “Life is beautiful” (1997), directed and starring Roberto Benigni, in which he plays Ferruccio, the main character Guido’s best friend. Sergio Bini also has his own theater company, where he is also a theater instructor.
