Radical Elders: A meeting
Company? Group? Collective? Co-operative? A dear child has many names. How are these collaborations formed, and how do they survive over time? We invite you to a professional conversation between Grenland Friteater, Gob Squad and Odin Teatret (and maybe a few more…)
The conversation is curated by Saul Garcia-Lopez, professor at the Academy of Performing Arts in Fredrikstad, and member of the performance group La Pocha Nostra. Saul is the research leader for the project “Radical Elders”, which investigates how knowledge is transferred across generations in the performing arts field.
In this conversation, we will take a closer look at the various groups’ process, organisation, artistic strategies and visions for the future. How have they survived? What has changed over time? And how is the knowledge transferred to new members and generations?
