About PIT

Porsgrunn International Theater Festival: PIT is Norway’s largest international theater festival.

From day one, PIT has placed the performing arts where it belongs: in front of the audience. Often in unfamiliar surroundings and let the entire city’s architecture and outdoor spaces become stages and arenas. In a shipyard’s dry dock, at the top of the water tower, in parks, streets, museums and industrial areas.

Tickets can be purchased online around the clock:  buy tickets here

or order by phone at Ælvespeilet: 35 54 70 05.

Ælvespeilet: Tue – Fri 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Sat 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, and one hour before all performances.

Service Center: Mon – Fri, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Wheelchair / companion tickets must be purchased at the ticket office at Ælvespeilet.

Festival Card must be purchased at the ticket office at Ælvespeilet.
