Terje Strømdahl interprets these juggler monologues from the Middle Ages in a way you have never experienced before!
For centuries, jugglers have been loved by the people, but hated by the authorities. The political sting in their funny stories was considered dangerous for those in power. We still need these relentless, humorous stories. And we still need the good narrators!
In Mistero Buffo, the actor is at the center, bringing countless characters to life, with only his own body and voice as a tool. In Teater Innlandet’s version, The juggler must unexpectedly take a deep dive into its innermost darkness in order to give today’s society the political feedback it deserves.
The stories are collected by the Italian theater legend and Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo.
Welcome to an unadorned and fun theater experience!
